Growing Money God's Way :)

To add to the good news of the fact that God wants you to prosper on all levels, God wants the the process of you getting to prosperity yo be easy:

Proverbs 10:22 "The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it."

Isn't that the greatest relief? That God wants the process to be easy? But with any privilege such as this there is a duty that we must fulfill.

In all the scripture that I looked at yesterday and in Leviticus 25 18-22 God explains the commensurate duty that goes with this privilege:

" 'Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws, and you will live safely in the land. Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill and live there in safety. You may ask, "What will we eat in the seventh year if we do not plant or harvest our crops?" I will send you such a blessing in the sixth year that the land will yield enough for three years."

In order to prosper we have to do God's will, obey his laws and live a life that builds His Kingdom. And in Leviticus He even promises that when business is slow, when recession hits you will still prosper, Because when the stock markets are up, inflation drops and business are good God will give you more than enough for you to prosper while times are tough. (Which is also a good reason to save for the rainy days!)

I don't know about you, but this just made my day. Knowing that as long as I follow God's will for my life, as long as I obey and submit to Him I will prosper, and God will smooth the road to this prosperity. I must just stay on the road!!!

Thank you Lord for giving me this awesome promise! Thank you that I can rest knowing that You will bless me even in tough times. Help me today and everyday to live the life and the purpose you created me to live. May how I live today only honour Your great and glorious Name! Amen
